Team coaching aims to facilitate and strengthen relationships between the members of a group, to encourage teamwork: a systematic process that, rather than focusing on individual performance, concentrates on the interactions of the team as a whole.

Formamentis follows the ORSC™ (Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching) model: a solid and integrated principle, based on Relationship Systems Intelligence™. Here, emotional intelligence (our relationship with ourselves) and social intelligence (our relationship with others) cross over into the realm of relational systems intelligence, where the focus is on interaction with the group. This approach creates sustainable and resilient teams.

Team Coaching is appropriate when:

  • New teams are being formed (whether whole, virtual, or project-based).

  • There is a change in leadership.

  • Teams operate as “silos.”

  • There are virtual teams.Roles, responsibilities, and/or decision-making processes need to be clarified.

  • Relational ineffectiveness impacts on team development (an inability to resolve conflict, poor negotiating, or an inability to provide feedback).

  • Teams that were previously high-performing are faced with burnout or new challenges.

Advantages of Team Coaching:

  • Tangible improvements on a communicative level, implemented in a systematic way.

  • Development of solid team spirit, which will significantly impact on an organization’s climate, productivity, and customer retention.

  • Improvement in terms of interdepartmental cooperation, by reducing “silos.”

  • Development of specific relational skills to manage conflict in a constructive way.

  • Strengthen positivity in the workplace.

  • Increase in productivity, reliability, and team performance.
