Decision Coaching accompanies participants through the various phases of a decision-making process. The aim is two-fold: to help clarify the status quo (the existing situation), and to then guide the user toward effective and efficient action strategies.

The reason we find ourselves at a particular developmental level, both privately and professionally, is closely linked to the decisions we have taken over the course of our lives.

Do we… 

…study religious history or quantum physics?

…live to work or work to live?

…favor stability or embark on the entrepreneurial path?

…buy time or accept a transfer?

…do what’s necessary to get that long-awaited promotion or apply for a new position?

…invest time and money in product x or bet on the inherent potential of service y?

…set up a company with a lifelong friend or continue to be self-reliant?

 

Just like in the film “Sliding Doors,” every choice we make opens doors while, inevitably, others slam loudly in our faces, removing options that therejected path would haveprovided.

 

It’s well known that the decisions we make throughout the day contribute to shaping our lives, giving way to countless scenariosthat, very often, see us forced to deal with the threat of unpredictability.

 

It may seem paradoxical, but it’s true: however big or infinitely small it may be, every decision sees us facing up to our doubts, our uncertainties, and, above all, our fear of getting it wrong.

 

Metaphorically-speaking, Decision Coaching can be compared to a protected environment in which, under the guidance of a professional, we can allow ourselves the luxury of exploring our thoughts before focusing clearly and resolutely on the range of options available. The intent is to put participants in a position in which they can respond with confidence to that fateful question: “Are you sure?”
